I have been gifted with an award by Tina von Weisen...! Thanx so much, Tina!

Upon receipt, I am to post the meaning of this award, and pay it forward to eight other artists -- so here's the skinny...

"This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY -- nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement! Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these blogs!”

It was REALLY hard to narrow this list down to only eight! I wonder if it's acceptable to give the award more than ONCE...?

Hey Kids!! I'm Teaching Again

Do you like to play with your dolls? Have a different pose every day of the week!

Working with wire and the photos provided, learn to make an armature for a poseable doll — in this instance, the finished doll will be about 20 inches tall, but the armature can be adapted for any size doll.

C'mon over to Doll Street and join the fun.

More W.I.P.

Here's a blast from the past -- almost two years to the day! The Harpy is almost done, she needs a beaded collar and some hair. You can see a good pic of her face here: Mythology

My pal Diane and I signed up for the class together, and we agreed not to work on the dolls unless we could get together to do so...see how tough it is to arrange dolldays!?

Sorry about the photo quality -- I was too lazy to get out the big cube. I would have had to wrestle the cat for it!
